Civil Ceremonies

The Clonmel Park Hotel, Tipperary is delighted to announce that we now cater for civil marriage ceremonies and same sex marriages.

 

Bind your life together with an elegant candle lit ceremony in our chic Golden Vale Suite - perfect for intimate gathering for 5 to 200 guests.

 

Simply and elegant, the suite is elegantly decorated with crisp white chaircovers, fairylights, classic white lilies and pillar candles. Scroll up our candlelit aisle and celebrate your nuptials with family and friends.

 

We would be delighted to help you plan this day with advise on arranging a civil pertnership and assisting in the organisation of a register and decor for the occasion.

Information on Civil Wedding Ceremonies

 

A civil wedding ceremony is a legally approved marriage ceremony that contains no religious aspects.

 

Application should be made to the Civil Registration Office at least 3 months before the wedding, however is order to secure your preferred dates it is best to book as far in advance as possible. Once you have met the registar you will be given a declaration which both the couple and the hotel are required to sign.

 

The ceremony itself takes about 20 minutes. Music & readings can be made during the ceremony however they must be agreed by the register in advance.

 

Finally please note civil wedding ceremonies can open take place Monday to Friday. They cannot take place on Saturdays or Sundays
