Is it effective to work-out from home?

The short answer is yes!

In the absence of being able to pop in to see us while restrictions are in place, it is important to keep on top of your fitness regime.

Providing you are prepared to put a little time and effort into your workout at home, it can be just as effective as a gym workout.

There are so many benefits of working out at home.

  • It saves time.
  • There's no traveling or waiting for machines or equipment.
  • It's low cost.
  • There are no gym fees or expensive equipment needed.
  • Work out anytime.
  • You can exercise on your own schedule, no matter the time of day or night.
  • Privacy.
  • Go at your own pace.

The workout snippets the Leisure Centre have devised are specifically created so that you can do these work outs form the comfort of your own home.

You should always consult your GP in advance of training if you are returning from injury or an operation before undertaking any strenuous workouts or exercises, so please do be careful!
